Received your letter dated 15/8/1973. Another letter sent along with this meant for your residence was sent to your place.

Sewa Mandal celebrated (my) completion of sixty years with lot of expenses. Function was very good. Everybody remembered you at the function. All family members from Shri Sapre Guruji and your family were present for all the 3 / 4 days of function.

I take this function as adoration of Shri Baba Maharaj’s Krupa. What I take is that Shree Sadguru Baba has kept this body alive and also somewhat efficient, which is solely his Krupa.

I neither need (such a function) nor do I like it. Because it’s not good to celebrate or to have function for the body made up of five elements which enters in the jaws of death bit by bit and every moment. It is different for Shree Sadguru Baba who is reincarnation (of god). That’s it.

About 1500 persons ate at the function, Havan took place for two days. Everything was appropriate.

Shree Sadguru Baba’s Punyatithi (death anniversary) was observed on Shravan vadya 4 i.e. on Friday the 17/8/73. Namasmaran (recitation) for 24 Hrs; Laghurudrabhishek, reading of Dyaneshwari, Spiritual discourse by Shree Santa Karkhanis, Evening aarti, thereafter Sahasravartan, Shraadhvidhi in the afternoon thereafter Mahaprasad, also Mahaprasad in the night and Kirtan thereafter, was the entire program. On that day also all remembered you. On 21st Krishna janmadhyay was read in the night and on 22nd evening program of Kirtan, Dahi-handi etc. was done between 5 & 8 pm. All the members from your family were present on both the days. All your family members are O.K.; children attend school properly. Do (their) studies. (and) All are in good health.

Preliminary meeting for celebration of Birth anniversary of Shree Sadguru Baba was held on Thursday the 23/8. Office bearers were elected and your name also was included as a member. Because by Deepavali you are returning to India. Namaskar to you from all the members present for the meeting and those who know you.
