Shri Vithalrao Joshi Charities Trust’s College of Advanced Studies’ offers Post graduate Diploma Course in Medical Laboratory Technology since July, 2003, recognized by the Directorate of Technical Education and affiliated to MSBTE. Course duration is of 18 months (three semesters). After successful completion of the Diploma and requisite period of internship under the guidance and supervision of Trainers as well as Doctors at the Trust’s Hospital as prescribed by the Government, the students can venture to manage their own pathological laboratory. At present 40 students are being admitted for the course every year. Hostel accommodation and mess facility, for male and female students has been separately provided.

Additional Courses like Diplomas in Dietetics, x-ray, Radiography and Ultrasonography Techniques are under consideration and the same will be introduced subject to approval from the appropriate authorities on an ongoing basis. The fee structure is highly subsidized and NO DONATION (under any pretext) is collected from the students. Our successful students in Nursing and DMLT Courses are given placements in the Trust’s Hospital to enable them to be self-sustaining.
