Akkalkot Niwasi Shree Swami Samarth Mandir

The foundation of the Akkalkot Niwasi Shri Swami Samarth Temple in Andheri is rooted in a profound spiritual transmission. Following the completion of Shri Baba’s incarnation on August 18, 1954, two Asthi (sacred remains) were entrusted to Shri Maharaj through a divine realization granted to Mr. Maraballi. Inspired by Shri Sadguru Sahajanand Saraswati Maharaj, this shrine was built to house these sacred remains. The temple's evolution reached a milestone on September 2, 1994, when Walawalkar Saheb laid the foundation stone in the presence of Shri Kaka Maharaj. In a phenomenal display of devotion and efficiency, the temple was completed in just five months, with the idol of Shri Swami Samarth Maharaj installed on February 20, 1995.
