After the departure of Shree Aaisaheb in the year 1945, there was nobody to take proper care of Shree Baba Maharaj. On the other hand, he was also completely relieved from the restrictions of the worldly affairs. Then onwards, every year he started going on pilgrimage with his devotees to some holy places, after Kartik Poornima.

In the year 1946-47, Shree Baba Maharaj went on a long pilgrimage to holy places like Akkalkot, Pandharpur in Maharashtra, and Ganagapur, in Karnatak. In Akkalkot, when Shree Baba Maharaj was entering the temple-shrine of Shree Swami Samarth, in an Unmani Avastha, a person standing there prostrated and laid his head on the feet of Shree Baba Maharaj. Without even looking at that person, Shree Baba Maharaj said “Go and give a message from Raosaheb Sahasrabuddhe of Pune to your Guru. Tell him that he should take care of you”. No sooner that person heard the words of Shree Baba Maharaj, he started dancing and leaping jubilantly. Since his guru had shunted him out unceremoniously, he had come to Akkalkot temple-shrine, to render service at the feet of Shree Swami Samarth to seek his blessings. The blessings of Shree Baba Maharaj had fulfilled his inner desire, to go back and get accepted by his Guru.
