After retirement in 1928 Shree Baba Maharaj stayed in Pune for the rest of his life. Whenever desired, he went to the temple shrine of his Sadguru Shree Beedkar Maharaj. On the way to the temple shrine, he prostrated before anyone who came across his way. He prostrated even before a cat from the temple shrine with full reverence, considering that person or cat as an embodiment of his Sadguru Shree Beedkar Maharaj. Such was his bhakti towards his Sadguru.
