The B.K.L. Walawalkar Rural Medical College, established in 2015, is a NAAC-accredited institution affiliated with the Maharashtra University of Health Sciences. It offers MBBS and MD/MS programs with an annual intake of 150 and 40 students respectively, training them in a state-of-the-art 80-acre campus. The college aims to create ethical medical professionals who are equipped with global proficiencies to serve underserved rural communities.

S.V.J.C.T.’s English Medium School & Jr. College of Science was launched in 1997 to provide rural children in Konkan with quality education and English fluency. Now a CBSE-affiliated school with over 900 students, it follows a “No Homework” policy and features advanced facilities like Robotics and Space Labs. The institution aims to bridge the educational gap between rural and urban standards, prepare students for competitive higher education.

B.K.L. Walawalkar Hospital, Diagnostic & Research Centre is an 810-bed facility that serves as a medical oasis for the Konkan region. Started in 1996, it provides advanced treatments in oncology, cardiology, and urology, utilizing ultra-modern technology like MRI, Cath Lab, and Nuclear Medicine. The hospital is dedicated to offering quality care to the marginalized, often providing services for free or at subsidized rates through various government schemes.

Established in 2019, the B.K.L. Walawalkar College of Physiotherapy offers Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees focused on clinical reasoning, research, and community service. The college features cutting-edge amenities, including an advanced Gait Lab and BOBO-Pro machine for treating movement disorders. Its integration with the SVJCT’s Sports Academy significantly enhances student education by providing direct exposure to sports physiotherapy.

Samarth Nursing College was founded to empower rural women by providing them with self-sufficiency and financial independence through nursing education. It offers a range of programs including ANM, GNM, and B.Sc./M.Sc. Nursing, with more than 2,000 girls having completed their training in the last 24 years. Preference is given to local students, many of whom have gone on to secure employment in major cities or even abroad.
