Sometimes Shree Baba Maharaj displayed his mischievous nature. There were people who tried to take undue advantage of his self-meditative state of being. Because of this nature, an uninvited guest assumed Shree Baba Maharaj to be crazy and came to stay in his house for a long time in anticipation of getting free food.
Shree Baba Maharaj soon observed that the chances of this guest, leaving his house were nil and hence he planned to play a mischievous trick on the guest. One night at 2.00p.m, Shree Baba Maharaj woke up his guest by violently shaking him. The guest woke up. To his surprise, he saw Shree Baba Maharaj sitting by his side holding a plate containing two laddus. When he asked Shree Baba Maharaj about this he was told, “You have spent your entire life swallowing money. Now eat these two laddus”. Upon hearing these words, truth dawned on the guest and he felt terribly ashamed. The very next day, he left the house.
In a similar way, another uninvited guest under the pretext of being a devotee came to the house of Shree Baba Maharaj. He laid his hands on sweets, fruits etc., offered to Shree Baba Maharaj by the devotees. He did all this without even asking Shree Baba Maharaj.
If nothing were offered, then he would start looking in the shelves, cupboards, all the corners, and kitchen room etc., for any kind of eatables and consume whatever was available. Shree Baba Maharaj observed this shameless attitude and decided to teach him a lesson.
Shree Baba Maharaj asked one of his devotees, to prepare Laddus30 from soap scrapings. He then kept these soap laddus in the cupboard. The laddus looked exactly like authentic sweet laddus. As usual the guest came, but as he did not get any eatables from Shree Baba Maharaj, he opened the cupboard and was surprised to see the laddus. He asked, “Who kept these laddus here? Will they not get spoiled?” Saying so he put one laddu in his mouth and hurriedly ate it without even tasting it. As the laddu settled he realized it was made of soap, the weird taste of which made him sick and he started vomiting. Shree Baba Maharaj was silently enjoying this scene and thus taught this greedy guest a lesson of his lifetime.
